Miss Snaggletooth
Macy Moo chipped her two front teeth, and one of them is definitely loose. Below lies the evidence of falling face first onto the tile floor:

Poor baby girl, or should I say poor ME (insert sarcasm), she is now a snaggletooth. I finally got in touch with our pediatric dentist (who just so happens to be on vacation until after the first of the year- it figures, right?!), and I also spoke to another pediatric dentist that a friend referred. I'm thinking I will take her into the dentist early next week instead of waiting two weeks until our dentist returns to the office. Macy doesn't seem to be in any pain, the loose tooth is what concerns me.

Lelli Kelly shoes since before Macy was born, although, I couldn't justify spending full price on them. I caught them 50% off online earlier this week and couldn't add them to my shopping cart fast enough! She just loves her girly girly shoes and pranced around in them all evening. Tucker calls them her princess shoes. What is it about a cute pair of shoes that can turn your entire day around?!!

Macy's 18 Month Check-up
Today was Macy's 18 month well baby check-up. She continues to top the charts for height.
Height 33 1/4 in- 90th percentile
Weight 23 lbs, 14 oz- 50th percentile
And here's looking back at Tucker's 18 month measurements:
Height 31 1/2 in
Weight 23 lbs, 11 oz
So Miss Macy Moo is nearly 2 inches taller than her bro was, and just a few ounces heavier!
Our new pediatrician gives the green light for continued pacifier use. She believes that it's okay as long as new teeth are coming in (since it helps soothe). SO....I don't have to stress out about that at the moment. Yes, I know she's 18 months, but then again, she's only 18 months! I don't want her to grow up faster than she has to. Maybe that pacifier is just what she needs to keep herself and her mommy happy. :)
I realized today that Macy speaks many more words than I realized. I made a list since I figured that the pediatrician would ask about how many words she knew. I stopped at word 36, but I'm sure I left out some. I've wondered if she was on track because I remember Tucker talking more at her age, but I understand that it's normal for a second child because their sibling often talks for them.
Macy has inherited a mixture of our hair. She has some tight curls in the back, but none on top! I'm hoping that the curls will eventually even out, or will they go away? I've always hated my wavy/partly curly hair! As her hair grows longer in the back, the more and more evident the curls are.
My little girl finally has a love of baby dolls! She likes to hold her babies all throughout the day, and must cuddle her baby first thing in the morning when she wakes up. Another thing she does soon after she wakes up is request to eat. She starts yelling "Eeeeeeeat!" and bangs on the refrigerator and asks for milk and usually a waffle. Macy loves giving hugs and kisses. She enjoys looking at and having books read to her. She is quite interested in Elmo, Dora, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, and Yo Gabba Gabba. As always, I feel so blessed to have such a happy healthy baby girl!
