Snake Boots

Some of Tucker's most prized possessions are his rubber snakes, dinosaurs, cars, and his rain boots, or as Tucker calls them, his "snake boots." We were browsing the shoe section at Target a few weeks ago in search of flip flops for the pool. Tucker spotted a pair of bright green rain boots with painted eyes and a red mouth. He instantly had to have them. "I like those snake boots! Get me those snake boots, Mommy!" he exclaimed. I must admit, I've always thought rain boots on little kids are undeniably cute. They were on clearance for $3.98 so we couldn't pass them up. The instant we returned home, Tucker took off his shoes and asked for the boots. He proudly stomped around the house in them all afternoon, and he has been known to wear them out, with shorts (!), to stores, restaurants, basically where ever we need to go. He absolutely LOVES the silly rain boots! So now you'll understand and can laugh along with me if you ever happen to see Tucker on a "snake boot" day.

The baseballs went missing, but a basketball will do!
