Good Food, Good Company

This evening Mom joined us for shrimp carbonara bucati and crab legs. Good company, good food, good wine, incredibly cute grandchildren...what more could you ask for?! Tucker was quite interested in the crab legs. He enjoyed trying to crack them open, and we got a kick out of him pretending that the pinchers were attacking himself and us. Oh, how we love our animated little man!

Later, Mom and I enjoyed some wine on the patio as we watched Tucker play in the backyard. Poor Richard was stuck with clean up duty. Macy fell asleep in Momo's arms before 8:00pm rolled around. Have I mentioned what a great sleeper she is? I cannot believe that I birthed a child that is asleep by 8. The rest of us around here (and most members on my side of the family) are night owls. Let me tell you, I'm loving all the sleep going on in this household. I'm sleeping more now than I was before we welcomed Macy home!

those pictures just make my heart smile!!! tucker is so freaking cute, i just want to squeeze him!! and i can't get over how much macy looks like you!! i see you in her in every picture! those last ones with her momo are beyond precious. what gorgeous babies you have, you lucky girl!! :)
