A couple weekends ago we went to
Momo and Papaw's church fall festival. The afternoon involved a bounce house, games, CANDY, pumpkin painting, a firetruck tour, and Tucker's first hayride. The hayride was definitely Tucker's favorite part! Its got me thinking how there are so many
firsts happening in our world now, but what about in a few years? Will we run out of firsts? As I say over and over again:
Watching your children experience the world around them is an amazing thing. Never did I realize how amazing it would be until I became a mom. There are discoveries to be made daily. Everyday is a new adventure. And I cherish watching the excitement in Tucker's eyes as he travels through this world of new experiences.
JUMP, JUMP!
Hayride, y'all
And then there was Tucker's big debut! Momo & Papaw and their praise team band/singers performed at the fall festival. The drummer just adores Tucker, and he let him play the drums along with him. You should have seen Tucker's face light up when he realized that HE was able to bang a drum and cymbal with a real drumstick! He whacked the cymbals and beat on the Congo Drum like he knew exactly what he was doing. He had everyone smiling along! It was priceless. Now we are trying to convince ourselves that he really does not need a drum set for Christmas. If he takes after his Papaw, we won't be able to keep him away from the musical instruments for long!

Great pictures! I don't think the "firsts" ever end - it is just different types of things as they get older. One I am noticing recently with Savannah is asking the meaning of words, such as "hitchhiker" the other day! That is just not a word she has ever heard! One of the fun-est things about being a mommy is getting to do the fun "kid stuff" again!!
