A Day with Thomas the Train

We had a fun-filled day on Sunday. We ate lunch at Rainforest Cafe, which was quite a treat for us all. Tucker absolutely loved looking at all the animals and aquariums throughout the restaurant, and Macy was fixated on the gorillas that were right above our table. For any of you parents who haven't been, you should definitely check it out. I had no idea that the atmosphere would be so elaborate, and the food was pretty good! And as an added bonus, Curious George is a licenced character there, so we were able to find some unique CG items at the gift shop.


We then headed to Grapevine's Vintage Railroad for A Day with Thomas the Train. This was like a dream come true for Tucker. He loves him some Thomas the Train and Friends! He was so excited about getting to ride the real Thomas the Train! There were several activities for the children, including a Thomas the Train bounce house/slide, a play area with train tables galore, live music, pony rides, and the event wouldn't have been complete without fattening fried food and cotton candy! Tucker was also able to meet and get his picture taken with Sir Topham Hatt! What a day!


It was rather chilly and extremely WINDY, as evident in Tucker's crazy wind-blown hair. Maybe it's about time for Tuck to have another haircut?!
