One of our dinner conversations was why I freed Tucker's doodlebug pet. You see, Tucker loves looking at the doodlebugs outside, and Richard let him bring one inside yesterday. They put Mr. Doodlebug in a bowl, and Tuck carried it around for most of the evening. I decided to free the doodlebug last night after Tucker went to sleep. When he asked me about Doodle today, I told him that his pet must have crawled away. The following conversation followed several hours later while at the dinner table:
T: Mama, I don't think my doodlebug crawled away. I've been looking for him all day! I think you took him out of that bowl. Did you do it, Mama?
M: (after almost catching myself in a lie, AGAIN...) Yes, you're right. I put Mr. Doodlebug outside because that's where he should live.
T: But, Mama, I brought him inside the house for a pet. He just crawled around in that little bowl...
M: Well, I was afraid that he would escape his bowl, and we wouldn't want him crawling all over the house, now would we?
T: But, Mama, he was gonna just live in that little bowl. He liked to crawl in there, and he rolled into a ball to go to sleep. I'm sad. I wanted to see him and pet him.
M: Pet a doodlebug? Now that's silly! Doodlebugs don't have any fur to pet!
T: I was just gonna use one little finger to pet him. But now he's gone. So I can't do it. (pout pout pout)
You did what to my pet doodlebug?
Pouting...

Is that the highchair that's been recalled? I knew I remembered seeing it somewhere but I couldn't remember where! Just wanted to leave a comment to make sure you know, incase it is the same chair. If not, well nevermind, I've only seen the pics on the news.
Thanks, Kelly....I had no idea it had been recently recalled!
Cute conversation and kiddos =)
