Our New Ride

Goodbye, Beamer. Hello, mommy mobile! So it only took us two kids to finally join the world of family car ownership. It was just too tight in the BMW with two carseats, and no matter how hard I tried to convince myself that it would work, I finally caved. We are now the owners of a Saturn Outlook. We've been looking at these for a couple of months, and we finally decided that the 7-passenger with captain's chairs was the best option for us. It feels wonderful to have room in our vehicle for 3 other people!

Tucker was really upset last night when he realized that the red car wasn't coming back home with us. I mean seriously sad. He gave her a kiss goodbye and off we went in our white Outlook, which has been named Frosty. I will even admit, it was hard leaving the Beamer behind. Now I have to learn how to drive this monster of a truck!

Frosty must be growing on Tucker, since he remarked earlier today, "This is a pretty cool minivan!" Um, no, not a minivan. We purposefully strayed clear of minivans, mostly due to Richard's fear of one making him feel old. :)

First and foremost, I'm in complete agreement with Richard - NO MINIVAN FOR ME! I'm way too cool for that!!! I understand the practicality of minivans, but NO WAY!

I love the new ride - you will enjoy it! I just a got a new Mercury Mountaineer about a month ago and I love it! That third row seating is the bomb!! Enjoy!!
