Congrats, Clay!

My nephew Clay won second place in his age division in the Searching for a Star competition. This means that he was in the top 4 overall! The competition began with over 40 upper elementary through high school student contestants. Not only was the mayor of his hometown there to personally congratulate and present him with an award and prize money, he also later received a hand-written letter from the mayor, and his picture was on the front page of the Wylie newspaper. Congratulations, Clay! We are SO proud of you!

Exciting stuff is happening for Clay. He recorded his first demo CD last week, and he leaves for Orlando, Florida today to participate in the AMTC convention, where he will perform for talent agents. Safe travels and good luck to my superstar nephew!
