My mom's surgery went well. She is the new owner of a metal ankle full of screws, plates, and pins. She goes to the specialist next week for a follow up appointment and to get casted. She seems to be taking this injury and unexpected turn of events well. Anyone who knows her knows she is positive with a capital
P! She is already talking about getting a flashy bright pink cast, and I'm already thinking of ideas on how make it pretty! Maybe some bling to bedazzle it???
I'm trying to figure out the logistics of getting her out of the house this summer. I'm not quite sure how I'll handle a stroller AND wheelchair! I guess I could always wear Macy in the sling and put my trust in Tucker to walk along side of me as I push mom....fun times ahead! :)

Your poor mom!! I definitely think she needs some bling on her cast, and I vote for a pink one! :)
Oh dear, poor thing!! You can always invite us and I can push a stroller since none of mine are in one anymore. You CAN take me up on this offer!!
The sacrifices moms & grandmothers make! Poor thing. I'm glad she has such a positive attitude. Maybe you could get a triple stroller and just stuff her into the front? :)
