Summer, Summer, Summertime!

Today we went to our neighborhood pool for the first time this summer. Wow, where has the month of June gone? This marked Macy's first time in a big swimming pool, and it was Tucker's first time swimming since his swim lessons. Tucker wore his swimming vest (I know, it's not the most attractive thing) and he was actually able to move his arms and kick his legs enough to keep himself above water. That's great news, considering the swimming vest we have isn't the greatest, as it tends to be top heavy and tilt him over onto his stomach. Tucker had a blast jumping in the pool to cousins/extended cousins Clay & Christie, and aunt Kim. Connor was as sweet as ever, playing with Tucker and also giving his attention to Macy. Macy wasn't so sure about the pool at first, but she was just fine as long as I was holding her. She would tolerate her baby float for a few minutes before she was ready to be held. She loves baths and splashing in kiddie pools, so I think she just had the first time jitters!
