Goin' to the Lodge, Great Wolf Lodge....

We recently took a mini vacay with our neighbors to Great Wolf Lodge. The kids enjoyed themselves, and the adults had a blast too! Tucker and Alexandra loved the kiddie area, as well as the bigger kid structures and water slides. Tucker wasn't so sure about going down the water slide at first and decided it wasn't for him once we reached the top and it was his turn. The lifeguard alerted the lifeguard at the bottom, and Jennifer was down there to the rescue, if need be. So...I pushed him down against his will and the lifeguard was right. He DID enjoy it and wanted to go again. :)

The adults were able to get in some water slide time too. The men watched the kids as Jennifer and I rode water slides, and vice versa. It took me back to my middle school days of spending hours upon hours at Wet n' Wild. What fun it was to feel like a kid again!

In addition to the indoor water park, there is an outdoor area with a huge waterfall that goes off when the wolf howls. I think that was Tucker's favorite part. We spent much of day 2 outdoors since Tucker seemed to like it so much. Macy was as happy as can be, inside or out. She loves water!

We have decided to make the Great Wolf Lodge a yearly tradition with our neighbors. Tucker has been begging us to go back! There is so much to see and do, that I'm sure next year's trip will be a new adventure.

What kid wouldn't love a giant treehouse?

Alexandra & Tucker love!

How much fun is that!?!?! I wondered how cool that place was and if it would be worthwhile checking out someday for a in-town getaway /vacay and it looks like y'all had a great time! Especially if it's going to become a tradition now too.
