This and That

Not sure what has gotten into my little boy lately, as he has been a HANDFUL. Not only has he been misbehaving, but he's been so grumpy! He received his first bad report at preschool this week. His teacher explained that he was pushing and taking toys away from his classmates. She said it was unTucker-like behavior, so I'm hoping he was just having an off day (or week, as it seems). His misbehavior continued into the evening on that particular day, and we were both exhausted by bedtime. Tucker commented, "Whew...it's been a rough day." Well, YEAH.

Yesterday the kids had new patient appointments with a pediatrician's office here in town. Although I absolutely love Dr. Sue, whom has been the kid's doctor since birth, I don't so much love driving 45 minutes out of town for sick visits. So I finally bit the bullet and decided to switch doctors. The practice we chose comes highly recommended, so I'm sure it will be great, I'm just a little upset about leaving Dr. Sue since we all love her so much. Unfortunately, we didn't leave such a good impression with the new pediatrician. Tucker was a total turkey. I won't go into all the details, just know that Mama wasn't the least bit happy!

Seriously though, how could I ever stay upset with my curly top Tucker? Underneath all the rough and tough boyish attitude lies a sweet little boy who sure loves his mommy!

As for Macy, she keeps our hearts full and our bellies laughing. She loves to dance and is interested in all types of sound and music. She sings her own little version of the ABC's. The girl loves her daddy and her papaw, and showers her brother with hugs and kisses. This same little sweet baby girl can also throw one heck of a fit. She knows what she wants and isn't shy about letting us know when life gets rough. :)

Life is sweet. I count my blessings daily.

I almost forgot to mention that the outfit that Macy is wearing is one of my steals from Petite Maison, the local baby boutique that closed. I just love it! It's Tea Collection, one of my favorite brands for the kiddos!
