Holiday Fun in Grapevine

Yesterday we traveled to Grapevine for some holiday fun with Papaw and Momo. Downtown Grapevine is charming, and all the Christmas decorations and lights were beautiful! Tucker really enjoyed the Santa on stilts, along with an elf and Frosty the Snowman. They played games with the children, which was a special treat for Tuck. The adults sipped on hot chocolate and apple cider, we all ate fresh kettle corn, and took in all there was to see and do. It was a cold evening, brr, but we really didn't seem to notice much since we were all so bundled up in layers of clothing! We ate at a cute little Mexican restaurant off of Main St. The food was fab and the margaritas were even better! We then headed up the street to the North Pole Express, a Christmas themed train ride on Grapevine's Vintage Railroad. Everyone is encouraged to wear pajamas, so of course we had to take part (the kids, that is)! We changed Tucker and Macy into matching Christmas pj's, and then we were off to enjoy all the activities before the train departure. The North Pole Express was fun for everyone! Macy loved the train ride, and all the singing of Christmas songs as we rode along. Tucker was mostly into looking out the window at everything we passed. Santa even made an appearance on the train and Macy didn't cry! She even gave him a high five. Progress! Overall, we had a wonderful time making memories and plan to make this a yearly tradition.

Yep, this was the best of like 5 shots. :)

All done! Everyone's tired and ready to head home. What a fun-filled day it was!
