Incredibly Blessed on Mother's Day

Being a mom is greatest job ever! I'm incredibly blessed to have two little lovies call me their Mama. Richard has always told the kids to love their mommy the best, which I honestly thought was a bit odd to say, but they really do love to cuddle and snuggle with me the best. That also means that I'm the designated bedtime person, which isn't always so lovely! I can normally get them to sleep pretty easily, which isn't the case if Richard tries to put them down. They will beg and beg for their mommy. :) The kids do, however, love their daddy just as much!

Macy Moo is almost 23 months, just a few weeks shy of being TWO! I really can't believe that my baby girl is nearly 2 years old. It doesn't seem possible that my kids are already 4 and 2. Seriously, where does the time go?!

Macy is still our champion eater; she doesn't miss a meal. She actually only weighs 4 lbs less than Tucker (but he is pretty skinny)! She is starting to talk quite a bit, and understands almost everything we may ask her. We may not be able to understand everything she says, but she sure knows what she means! It's funny to hear her talk in multiple sentences, but only pick up on a few of the words. She gets SO frustrated when others don't get what it is she's saying! She is tall enough now to reach the light switches in the house (they are rather low, obviously) so she announces, "Lights ON!" as she goes around the house turning all the lights and fans on. Before she was able to reach the light switches, she would carry around her step stool throughout the house and turn them on anyways. Ha. Another funny thing she does is bring us toys that aren't working. She'll say, "Need batteries!"

Macy Moo is Mommy's sunshine! I'm so blessed to have my little man and baby girl!

Big brown eyes!

My precious Tucker, my 4 year old, mommy's cuddle bug, is getting TOO big! How did that happen? He keeps us laughing with his innocent, sometimes really amusing thoughts and opinions, he adores his baby sister, and loves nothing more than to play with his daddy. I really should start recording our daily conversations because I know there will come a time when this innocent little boy will be all grown up! I love this little guy more than words could ever express.
