Updates- Catching Up!

Yes, the past few weeks have been busy busy....but has it really been nearly 2 months since I last updated the blog? There's lots to catch up on!

Macy absolutely LOVES school. She wakes up everyday asking to go. She pouts if it's not a school day. The little one who absolutely hated being left and cried for hours on end for weeks, actually adores it now. I just love getting her daily reports that tell how sweet and intelligent she is. She has really come out of her shell which we're so very grateful for. I can even leave her at the gym childcare without tears. That is huge!

Macy started dance class in September. She really enjoys it! At first she had some trouble paying attention for any length of time and was hesitant to "perform" but now she is doing great! She is the cutest little ballerina.

Tucker is doing well at school and has made many new friends. He is working hard on letters and is interested in how letter sounds form words. He has always been interested in books, but now he wants to 'read' the words himself. He can identify letters and their sounds, and writes his name (finally!) We are so proud of our little guy and the big boy he is becoming!

Tucker just completed his 3rd soccer season on the Gators. He so much enjoys playing soccer and the friendships with his teammates. Richard is still coaching, which means so much to all of us.

We are thrilled to report that the kids are sleeping in their own beds! This is a huge accomplishment for the Pierce household. Tucker has co slept with us since....forever. We've had many failed attempts at getting him into his own room- toddler bed, race car toddler bed, full-size bed with snazzy train bedding (when he was obsessed with trains), and finally a twin-size bed. We actually made a Sleeping Room for the kids since they wanted to sleep in the same room anyways. We bought them matching furniture, let them pick out coordinating bedding, had their walls painted a funky lime green, and topped it all off with new decor. They love their Sleeping Room! As much as I enjoy cuddling in bed with my babies, having our own bed back is heaven!
