Tucker graduated from Pre-K at FBC Weekday School and will be starting Kindergarten next month. We are all in for a huge change- adjustments, adjustments! He is excited about finally being a student at the BIG school down the street. How is my little man already starting elementary school?
Macy completed her first year of FBC Weekday School. She absolutely loved the experience and will be returning in the fall. I'm so glad we decided to start her last year while Tucker was at the school as well, so she had the chance to adjust to a school environment with her big bro as her security. The two of them now bicker constantly (summers are LONG- ha!) , but in the end, Tucker is so very protective of his baby sister. :)
Tucker completed his 4th season playing soccer on the Gators (with his daddy as coach), and he played his first season of t-ball on the Texas Tornadoes (daddy coached that, too!). Tucker and Richard really enjoy the sports thing. Of course we all enjoy watching our boys out there having fun. And there's that building confidence, working together as a team, and friendship aspect that goes along with it too. Once t-ball ended in late June, Tucker started karate lessons, and he and Macy both are currently taking swim lessons. And if that wasn't enough activity already, Tucker just started playing futsol, a form of indoor soccer, which will continue throughoutAugust. Richard is coaching the indoor soccer team as well, and we are trying to decide if we will continue with fall soccer or take a season off to adjust to getting into the routine of Kindergarten.
Macy fulfilled one year of dance (tap, ballet & twirling) with CK Studios. She is definitely our little dancing queen! She loves to dance and perform, sing, etc. Her big spring recital was a huge success! At the age of two, she was the youngest in the class, but the big stage didn't scare her one bit! We absolutely love watching our Macy Moo dance and do her thing. Not only did Macy perform in the traditional spring recital, she also took part in a Winter/Christmas show and a Spring Show-Off. In addition to the three dance shows, she also participated in a state-wide dance competition and even performed a dancing/singing solo! Lots of dancing pics and video are in order! Since Macy loves dancing so much, she took a 6 week summer dance class through another local dance studio. She really enjoyed it (and, actually, we are both sad that it ended!). I do believe we will remain at this dance studio in the fall.
To be continued..... :)
