Strep

Tucker is really sick with strep. I had the Dr's office also do a flu test just to make sure...thank goodness he tested negative. Thoughts of the Swine Flu definitely had me in a panic! It seems our little T is one of the unlucky ones who runs very high fever when he is sick. Four hours after a dose of Tylenol or Motrin, his fever spikes back up to 104-105. This has been going on since Wednesday night. He is pitiful, especially when he's forced into cold bath water to lower his temp. He is drinking fluids, but getting him to eat is definitely a struggle. Poor little guy. He was really looking forward to Cousin Isabel's birthday party tomorrow, but it seems we will miss it. :(
Thankfully, my mom has been watching Macy so we don't have to worry as much about her getting exposed to Tucker's illness. It has also enabled me to cuddle with him in bed, which is exactly what he's been requesting (and exactly what I LOVE to do). What a blessing my mom is! I can't say that enough.
