Florida Vacation: Pool Fun

During our almost 2 week vacation, we spent many days at the pool. We actually stayed at two different resorts while in Florida. The first one was Cape Cod style with lots of activities offered for children and adults- boating, fishing, pool games, live music, arts & crafts, etc. The second resort is one we had stayed at before, and returned just for the spectacular pool area, which includes a water slide and lazy river. The poolside bar service is also fab at this particular place. Needless to say, we all greatly enjoyed ourselves! Macy napped at the pool, so I was able to relax for a bit each day we were there. Tucker kept going, going, going the entire time! On our first pool day, I actually slipped and fell, injuring my knee, and ended up at urgent care. The doctor termed it a severe bone contusion. I was on lovely crutches for a few days, and in a knee brace for a few more, but I was back to normal within a couple of weeks. It figures that we would experience an accident on our vacation! Luckily it was ME and not one of the kids!

Tucker was a brave boy and loved the water slide!

Excited babies-running to go swim!

This was our view from our villa's screened in porch.
The kids loved watching the koi fish by the pool

The resort had lots of activities for children. On this particular afternoon, the kiddos stuffed an animal poolside (like Build A Bear). Tucker was so excited about his penguin.

And Macy chose a puppy dog.

The giant chess board that the kids loved!

Wishing I was still here!

This was the day that I had an accident at the pool, so we didn't get many photos! :)
