Week 2 of preschool was great! Macy is crying less and less each day she's at school. I'm sure adjusting is difficult especially considering she's only there 2 days a week. Today was the first day we did the drop-off lane. Macy wasn't too happy about someone else getting her out of the car to take her to class, but at least it was her teacher that just so happened to be one that got her out. I know that had to have helped.
Tucker's teacher says he is really sweet and polite. Today was the first day he had to change his name to "yellow" (aka- a warning), but he earned his "green" back by the end of the day. When I asked him what he was doing to get on yellow he said, "Hmmmmm. I really don't remember. But I'm sure it was playing around because my buddies Grant and Lucas got yellow at the same time." Ha, I love that little guy of mine! Grant and Lucas are also on Tucker's soccer team, so I had a feeling that it wouldn't take long for the three of them to get into some sort of mischief together!
When Macy is asked about her new friends at school she names a couple of the girls and follows it up with "and TWO boys!!!" I think she is partial to boys, thanks to her big bro! Again today, Macy was the first one to fall asleep at nap time. I guess school is wearing her out! This week her teacher said that she was attentive, inquisitive, and followed directions very well. Apparently Macy really enjoys music class, and today she even danced along while she sang songs. I so wish I could be a fly on the wall and watch what all she's doing at school! I really appreciate the daily reports that her teacher sends home.
